Collision Returns to Redondo Union

Collision XVI All Star game, the premier post season attraction for the regions top senior girls and boys from the Los Angeles City Section and CIF Southern Section, will return for the second year to Redondo Union High School on April 19, 2014, it was announced.

The 16th annual Collision will continued to feature the top basketball players divided along sectional lines in two all star games pitting the City versus the Southern Section.

In addition the event will also showcase the elite youths basketball players from grades 5 through 8.

More NBA, collegiate and professional basketball players have participated in Collision than any other regional all-star game, and the event is the longest running game matching the two sections.

Current Clippers Darren Collison and Ryan Hollins participated in the event and were named MVP during separate years. Other NBA player to play in the event includes Denver Nuggets standout Jordan Hamilton and former No. 2 draft pick Derrick Williams.
