CME Ministers Host Seven Last Words

Seven dynamic preachers will deliver the ‘Seven Last Words of Jesus Christ’ during a special worship presented by the Southern California Ministerial Alliance of the C.M.E. Church.

The service is set for Friday, April 18, at 12 p.m. at Hays Tabernacle C.M.E. Church, 10121 South Central Avenue in Los Angeles, said the Rev. Joseph C. Gardner, Sr., Alliance president.  The host pastor is Presiding Elder Julio Andujo.

“We encourage the community-at-large to join us for a powerful, uplifting worship experience featuring our presiding prelate, Bishop James B. Walker, preaching the fourth word,” said President Gardner.

The other speakers are the Rev. James Rumph, the Rev. Terry Tapley, the Rev. Wendell M. Oldham, the Rev. Reuben Caro, the Rev. Marshall Sharpe, Jr., and the Rev. Willie L. McDaniel.
