Previously serving on an interim basis, Rev. Oloimooja expressed his pleasure and excitement about his new status. “It is a great blessing from God to minister in this city. Wonderful people belong to this church and I am thankful for the opportunity to work together with our members to spread the good word of God throughout the community,” he said.
“The Lord sent me here as a missionary and now, as a pastor, I am giving back to the United States. My plan is to continue and improve upon the ministries our church provides,” said Rev. Oloimooja.
Christ the Good Shepherd offers weekly Bible Study and regular pastoral counseling. The church also operates a food closet for low-income people and conducts on-going hospital visits to pray for the infirm and share Holy Communion.
