The grant will be used for AbilityFirst’s After School Enrichment Program, offered at seven AbilityFirst community centers including the Harry A. Mier Center in Inglewood. The centers serve more than 400 children with developmental disabilities including autism, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome. “We appreciate this generous donation from The CarMax Foundation. This funding will help children with disabilities continue to expand their possibilities and secure a better future,” said Lori Gangemi, president and CEO of AbilityFirst.
