Fathers ‘Re-Launch’ Conference takes place on June 8 at 8:30 a.m., in the Student Center Lounge at El Camino College, 111 East Artesia Boulevard in Compton, said organizers Ed Rice and Marty Sellers.  The event aims to ensure that new and young fathers have access to resources and support. Bible Believers Christian College and Seminary holds its 2013 Graduation Ceremony on June 8 at 11 a.m., at the Carson Civic Center, 801 East Carson Street in Carson. This event will also salute a major milestone in the institution’s work in the ministry. Call (323) 779-2222 for details.

Church One hosts ‘Public Construction 101’ on June 15 at 11 a.m., at 700 East 70th Street in Long Beach, said Bishop W. Todd Ervin, pastor. Second A.M.E. Church celebrates its 105th year Anniversary with a pre-anniversary Banquet Luncheon on June 15 at 11 a.m., at 5500 South Hoover Street in Los Angeles, said Pastor John E. Cager. Abundant Grace Bible Church holds Zumba classes on Mondays and Thursdays at 9 a.m. and on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 p.m., at 3133 West 131st Street in Hawthorne.
