The clinic is asking the community to be a part of their annual “Feed the Family.” Last year they fed more than 425 families during the Thanksgiving holiday. This year they would like to feed 500 families or more.

They are asking the community to bring a bag of non-perishable goods and receive a facial at a discounted rate.

The chain has so much to offer, from beauty treatments, beauty wraps, micro-dermabrasion, facial treatments, acne/pimples, discoloration treatments, shaving bumps, spa body therapy, massages, manicures, pedicures, and more.

All service is family style. For those who want to experience the down-home delights will be able to indulge themselves in many of the services the chain has to offer.

Bruce and Pam Nwachies homegrown business found its roots in a remote village in Nigeria in 1993. The Nigerian skin products evolved into the Skin Essence product line and helped the Nwachies start a chain of Los Angeles skin care clinic products that are specially altered for customers of all skin types and melanin levels.

The business still imports its products from Nigeria. Many of the customers are men who relish the luxury of getting a manicure and facial. A typical facial involves a multi-step process that includes rubbing, heating, cooling, lathering, and coating.

A facial starts with surface exfoliation and deep pore cleansing which leads to a steam treatment with an herbal enzyme. Added to that is the two-step extractions to get rid of blackheads and whiteheads; a stimulating coated mask with cucumber slices over the eyes treatment; a frosty dollop of Aloe Vera ice; and an anti-bacterial rub down with a greaseless sun block.

Clients can be pampered with one or all of the varying pedicures, manicures, facials, massages, body glow polishes, hair waxes or therapeutic masks. There are optional steam treatments and dips in the Jacuzzi at the Inglewood clinic.

The clinic specializes in corrective facials and offers several facial treatments. It is a state of the art skin care salon; dedicated to helping you achieve a flawless complexion.

It is designed to promote healthy skin by assisting in the relief of acne/oily prone skin, dry skin, hyper-pigmentation, irregular skin tones, ingrown hairs, and the visible signs of aging.
