On Saturday, March 21, Broadway Federal Bank is hosting a Town Hall Meeting, "Understanding the Stimulus Package" at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center, 4718 W. Washington Blvd, LA 90016.

Paul C. Hudson, Chairman and CEO of Broadway Federal Bank stated "Town Hall meetings provide a unique forum for our community to dialogue about important issues of our time."

Mr. Hudson will be joined by an expert panel that includes Karen Bass, Speaker of the California State Assembly and two leading experts on the economy, Professor Lawrence E. Harris, the Fred V. Keenan Chair in Finance at the USC Marshall School of Business and Professor Stuart Gabriel, Arden Realty Chair and Professor of Finance and Director of Richard S. Ziman Center for Real Estate at UCLA.

This is an opportunity to engage with nationally recognized leaders in the fields of politics, real estate and economics. Professor Harris has written about trading rules and market regulation, while Professor Gabriel's research has focused on the effects of housing wealth on macroeconomic activity and house price fluctuations.

The Town Hall is designed to provide consumers an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the Stimulus Package and to encourage an open and honest discussion of economic impacts.
