It’s joy to be back home at my old alma mater Jefferson High alumni association of Jefferson High. The man who introduced me followed in my footsteps as the Sports Editor of the Jefferson school newspaper and journalism award winner. Boy he really laid it own. He really made me feel as any other grad of the school and as famous as Woody Strode, the teammate of Jackie Robinson, Mal Whitfield, the two-time 800-meters champion, Cal sprinter and football star Jerry Drew and Willie White and other Jeff greats like UCLA all-American Rommie Loudd and hundreds of others like Little Joe Parker, the late Billy “The Hill” McGill et al. Jeff High entertainment jazz greats Frank Morgan, Ocie Smith, singer Robert Williams, the international famous The Platters, Carmen de Lava world famous international dancing star, UCLA all-NFL pro Milton Davis, my teammate at Jeff on the B=+team et al.
