Bethel Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate 67 years of Christian and community service on Sunday, March 23, at 3 p.m., in the edifice located at 10905 South Compton Avenue in Los Angeles.

The theme is ‘Principled and Polite for a Profound Purpose’ based on Ephesians 4:15.

“We welcome the entire community to celebrate with us as we rededicate ourselves to the mandate of the Master,” said Pastor Reginald A. Pope.

“Our guests will be Dr. J. Roy Morrison and the members of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church.”

Regarding Bethel’s legacy, Dr. Pope said, “God has blessed us with 67 years of preaching the Gospel, equipping the Saints, evangelizing the undecided, ministering to the sick, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, sponsoring and tutoring students, and administering the ordinances, all undergirded by the power of prayer.”

Sister Lillian Smith is the Anniversary Chair.  For information, call (323) 566-5286.
