Rev. Julio and Dr. Patricia Andujo
Rev. Julio Andujo now leads the congregation at Hays Tabernacle C.M.E. Church, 10121 South Central Avenue in Los Angeles. Bishop James B. Walker, presiding prelate of the 9th Episcopal District, announced the appointment during last month’s Southern California Region Annual Conference.
On Sunday, September 11, at 11 a.m., Pastor Andujo will deliver the message during the Men’s Day Service. The theme is ‘Men On The Move For God’ and the program chair is Brother D. Bruce Levingston.
Regarding his new assignment, Rev. Andujo said, “I hope to make a significant impact in Los Angeles by uniting the African American and Hispanic communities, improving the economic stability of the poor, and winning as many lost souls for Christ as possible.”
A native Angelino, Rev. Andujo most recently served as pastor of Amos Temple C.M.E. Church in Riverside. Under his leadership, the church realized spiritual and numerical growth as well as obtained a new sanctuary, parsonage, rental property and land for expansion.
