The National Association of Minority Contractors-Southern California Chapter (NAMC) will be hosting their 18th Annual Leadership Award Dinner, Nov. 3rd at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott Hotel. To initiate this annual event, there will be a pre-dinner workshop titled “Five People Every Construction Owner Needs to Know”. Co-sponsored by Vobecky Enterprise, this pre-dinner event is to provide business owners and/or decision-makers in the construction field information on some of the most critical aspects of running their operations. The five subject matter experts are (1) HR Counsel; (2) CPA; (3) Financial Intermediary; (4) Bonding and Technical Assistance; and (5) Legal Counsel. Five People Every Construction Owner Needs to Know is a professional service collaboration, bringing together a diverse panel of experts across critical multiple functions. During this 2-hour session, starting at 3:00 p.m., discussions will be centered on “best practices” for each discipline, specific tips for operating a successful and efficient company, and available resources to address some of the difficult questions and/or challenges. The registration for the pre-dinner workshop is free by registering online at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/five-people-every-construction-owner-needs-to-know-tickets-38506717629.
