When I Am Weak
By Alfonzo Tucker (Columnist)
Published December 8, 2011

You gracefully nurse the potency that is within me.

The basis of your gift is that you understand my internal conflict.

When I am weak, your vision guides me to a positive peak.

You are the destiny I seek, the pride within me!

I have the handshake of a mythical Greek and the glare of confidence, which most men seek.

When I am at your feet you are merciful, I am childlike and you still allow me to rise with honor and creed.

Your breath is the life for which I breathe.

When I am weak, you remind me that life creates a façade, intentionally!

So as a man, I am to stand strong aggressively, providing a path for you and my family!

Because of you, when I am weak, it is temporary!
