As part of its ongoing outreach, The ROCK Christian Fellowship will provide free laundry washes and dryers on Saturday, May 10, for the Long Beach and surrounding communities.

The free service will be offered from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Mama’s Coin Laundry,

6163 Atlantic Avenue (near Jordan High School) in Long Beach.

“This is the sixth time we have provided this ‘no-strings attached’ opportunity and each one has increased in reception. The entire community is welcome to participate on a first-come, first-served basis,” said Pastor Gregory Sanders.

“We will provide seven normal washes and seven dryers free to the public. You bring your laundry, you place it in the washers and dryers and we will pay for it.

“Laundry Days are a way for The ROCK to serve the families of Long Beach who need it most. It is the heart and vision of The ROCK to display our love, appreciation and encouragement,” he said.

The ROCK Christian Fellowship is a Non-Denominational Ministry that meets every Sunday at 10 a.m., at Florence Bixby Elementary School, 5251 East Stearns Street in Long Beach.
