“The Second Coming of the Azusa Street Revival” takes place today and Friday, February 25 at 7 p.m., at St. Stephen A.M.E. Church, located at 1265 East 64th Street in Los Angeles.
“This revival will be like none other and if you miss this pouring out of the Holy Spirit, you will miss what could be the turning point in you life,” said Pastor Michael W. Carr Sr.
“Our revivalist will be Elder Mose A. Jones, pastor of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. Elder Jones is a dynamic preacher and anointed singer who is known across the southern United States for his powerful messages of deliverance through Christ,” said Rev. Carr.
Elder Jones previously served as pastor of Greater Hope M.B. Church in Houston. Under his leadership, the congregation expanded their outreach ministries and purchased a new edifice.
Also, Elder Jones hosted a weekly radio broadcast and released a gospel CD with the Greater Hope Choir.
A native of Houston, he received a bachelor of theology from Union College and Seminary and an honorary doctorate of theology from Potter’s Bible Institute.
“We invite anyone who feels that they or their family, their marriage, or their children are troubled to come out and be blessed by this revival. Souls will be saved, yokes will be broken, and bodies and minds will be healed,” added Rev. Carr.
