Something to Live For.
By Alfonzo Tucker (Columnist)
Published November 18, 2011

The swirl within your stomach as morning lifts your eyelids to another breeze.

The chance to formulate positive thought, then transfer that energy to your offspring.

Something to live for,

After a polite act of shivery, the smile you were not expecting yet received.

The kiss upon your left cheek from a person, after long periods of time, you have not seen.

Something to live for,

The recognition for achievement by not a single person but yourself, for which you have lost many nights sleep.

The playful movement from a vulnerable seed that develops within the womb of a person you have gifted to conceive.

Something to live for,

The moment you are able to return the love you felt unworthy to receive.

Those moments of euphoria shared between souls who were mint to be.

Something to live for,

The slur in your speech during a stimulating conversation, while embracing your spouse, before you unintentionally fall asleep.
