Solombra Ingram, CEO and founder of I’m Every Woman Inc. (IEW), will sponsor the 2nd Annual Shalom Sunday on March 24, at 10 a.m., in honor of her late husband, Dr. Billy G. Ingram, the founder and pastor of Maranatha Community Church for 31 years.

IEW has partnered with Volunteers of American Greater Los Angeles to provide services and gift bags for the 450 men and women at the Pathway to Home (P2H) Shelter, 3804 South Broadway Place in Los Angeles.

Photographers will take pictures of residents, clothing and essentials will be distributed, and haircuts and beauty makeovers will be offered.

“Whether he was coming or going, Pastor Billy always greeted and departed people with his wish for peace by saying ‘Shalom!’  That is why each year, on the anniversary of his passing, we have Shalom Sunday to commemorate his message of peace and affirm our commitment to creating goodwill in the community,” said Mrs. Ingram.

IEW is also accepting contributions of toiletries, socks, undergarments, combs, brushes, umbrellas, reusable water bottles, flip flops, gift cards, clothes, transportation tokens, towels, dental kits, rain ponchos, disposable wipes, magazines/books, and non-perishable food items.

The shelter is in need of twin size blankets, gloves, Depends, sanitary napkins, copy paper, pens, trash bags, paper products, televisions, computers, DVD movies (family-oriented), board and card games, and general office supplies.

IEW members will pick up items. To schedule a pickup, call (310) 226-6158 or email
