The Mary A. Campbell Women’s Missionary Society will hold their Annual Day worship service on Sunday, January 26, at 10 a.m., at Second A.M.E. Church, 5500 South Hoover Street in Los Angeles.

The theme is ‘Set Free To Serve’ with scriptural reference from Luke 13:10-13.  The Rev. Judi Wortham-Sauls will bring the Annual Day message.

“We welcome the community to join us in saluting the outstanding work of our Women’s Missionary Society.  Under the leadership of President Alma Lurry, the Society conducts activities throughout the year such as serving hot meals and distributing groceries to community residents in need,” said Pastor John E. Cager III.

“Also, you will be uplifted and inspired by the preaching of the Rev. Wortham-Sauls,” he added.

The Rev. Wortham-Sauls is an ordained elder in the A.M.E. Church.  A popular presenter at women’s conferences, she is the organizer of the ‘Count It All Joy’ ministry in Oakland, CA.  Rev. Wortham-Sauls is married to the Rev. Kevin Sauls, pastor of Holman United Methodist Church in Los Angeles.
