Price Chapel A.M.E. Church will observe Women’s Missionary Society (WMS) Sunday on April 29, at 10 a.m., in their edifice at 4000 West Slauson Avenue in Los Angeles.

“The Priscilla Matlock WMS, under the direction of Sister Jackie Clark, plays such an important role in the life of our church and we want to salute their many contributions by dedicating this day to them,” said Pastor Cedric V. Alexander.

“Everyone in greater Los Angeles is invited to attend and hear a powerful message delivered by the Rev. Felicia Bagneris, coordinator of Southern California Conference Women In Ministry (SCCWIM).”

In this capacity, the Rev. Bagneris oversees activities aimed at defining, enhancing, supporting and expanding the presence of women in ministry in the A.M.E. Church.

Called to the ministry in 1997, the Rev. Bagneris was licensed to preach in 1998, and ordained an A.M.E. Itinerant Elder in 2003. Currently, she serves as an associate minister at First A.M.E. Church-Pasadena led by Pastor Allen L. Williams, Sr.

The Rev. Bagneris earned her undergraduate degree from the California State University at Northridge, California, and is now pursuing a Master of Divinity degree from Payne Theological Seminary.

More information about the service is available by calling Price Chapel at (323) 296-2406.
