“Pamper Me Day” for Transitional Men and Women

Women of Color Entrepreneur Directory (W.O.C.E.D.) is hosting “Pamper Me Day” for local homeless men and women that are currently living in transitional homes as a way to help them see themselves in a new way and start the new year in a positive manner. Awesome Hair Salon Hair Artists along with other local Hairs Artists from the Los Angeles and The Inland Empire area will donate their time and talent by providing free hair styling, manicures, and make-up.


When: Monday, February 3, 2014 — 10:00 a.m.

What: Hairstyling, Manicures, Pedicures, and Make-up

Where: Awesome Hair Salon – 5035 West Slauson Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90056

Why: To provide a make-over day for homeless men and women as a way for them to see themselves at their best.

(W.O.C.E.D.) believes providing a make over will help increase their self-esteem, make them feel socially acceptable, 

and show them a reflection of their best selves.
