In-person early voting available to voters before Election Day.

Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC), Dean Logan reminded voters that the RR/CC headquarters will be open on weekends to accommodate early voting for the November 6, 2012 General Election. During the next two weekends before Tuesday, Nov. 6, the RR/CC Headquarters in Norwalk will be open to voters who would like to cast their ballot before Election Day. 

“Voters in LA County lead busy lives and are often on the go, in-person early voting is yet another option [in addition to voting by mail] for voters to participate in the upcoming Presidential Election," said Logan. 

To vote early, voters can visit the third floor of the RR/CC Headquarters located at 12400 Imperial Hwy., Norwalk, CA, through Election Day, November 6, 2012. In-person early voting is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, but additional weekend hours are available as well. Please note these additional hours: 

• Saturday November 3, 2012: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Sunday November 4, 2012: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Tuesday November 6, 2012 (Election Day): 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Voters may also vote early by requesting a Vote by Mail ballot.  The last day to request a Vote by Mail ballot is October 30, 2012.  To request a Vote by Mail ballot online, visit HYPERLINK "http://www.lavote.net/"www.lavote.net.
