October 28, 2010: Pam Grier honored with Action Icon Award

Emmy award-winning actor Glynn Turman presents actress Pam Grier with the Action Icon Award at the Celebrity + Stuntwomen's on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the Skirball Cultural Center. Considered the queen of blaxploitation films and its first female action hero, Grier was recognized for her groundbreaking roles in such films as Coffy and Foxy Brown. In celebrating girl power, the awards luncheon was hosted by the Diamond in the RAW Foundation, which honored many deserving stuntwomen and celebrities.
