Five time Grammy Award winning superstar Usher proudly displays his Ford Freedom Award, which he received recently for his entrepreneurial prowess. Standing beside him is Ed Lewis, Chairman Emeritus of Essence magazine, who accepted the Entrepreneurial Award on behalf of Johnson Publications Founder, the late John H. Johnson (shown in upper left photo). The Ford Motor Company Fund, the philanthropic arm of the Ford Motor Company, sponsored the 12th Annual Ford Freedom Awards which was held in Detroit.
