If you want to learn Spanish, try the 10-week course offered by Rev. Joseph Curtiss, director of United Gospel Outreach (UGO) and Rev. John A. Edwards, pastor of New Zion Chapel First Baptist Church.

According to Rev. Curtiss, "Rev. Edwards teaches Castilian Spanish throughout the city in several churches and schools and generates both excitement and learning during these inspiring sessions."

Christian Leadership School will host the Monday classes from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., beginning March 5 to June 8, at 1457 West 79th Street in Gardena. Rev. Willard Smith, director, can be reached at (323) 758-8688.

United Gospel Outreach will be the site of the sessions on Wednesdays, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at 7229 South Main Street in Los Angeles. UGO is located next to Word of life Christian Bookstore, at the southwest corner of Florence Avenue and Main Street. Rev. Curtiss and Sister Evelyn Curtiss are the directors.
