Derek Fisher was a key contributor in five NBA titles that the Lakers won, and also in their seven NBA Finals appearances over that time period.  He was clutch in big moments, and his leadership was invaluable.  He was like a coach on the floor, and he was the player who spoke to officials on behalf of the team.  Kobe Bryant, who will be the player who misses him the most, has always stressed the importance of having Fisher on the team because of the leadership that Fisher provides.  He will be missed.
