The Mablean Ephrian Foundation will partner with Mothers In Action to assist low-income families in Watts and South Los Angeles communities.

Washington Blvd, Downtown Carrier Annex at 1660 Beverly Blvd., Macy's Plaza at 2426 W. 8th Street, Textile Station at 100 W. Olympic and Main Office at 7001 S. Central Ave. deadline to deliver the gifts is Dec. 19.
"I know that this time of year there are so many children who have been abused or neglected who don't have someone to tell them that they love them and they do not get toys or have someone to prove gifts from them," said Mablean, a former television judge who gain national popularity.
"With the economic crisis that we are in today it is going to be even worse for low income families. These children and their families suffer anyway, but it's even more difficult now."
Mablean says that she is excited to be partnering with Mothers In Action and making a contribution to the community through her organization.
"Mothers In Action has been doing this for a long time, so I am just thrilled to be working with them to make an impact," she added.
Mothers In Action founder and director Brenda Marsh -Mitchell is also encouraging individuals to donate gift cards so that many students can also purchase supplies for college during these trying times.
"The list for those in need is growing by the minute and we want to make sure that we can assist as many individuals as we can," stated Marsh-Mitchell.
