Love & Unity Plans Basketball Tournament

Sports-loving brothers can display their skills and win up to $1500 by joining the ‘3 On 3 Men's Basketball Tournament' sponsored by Love and Unity Christian Fellowship Church.

"The free event, set for Saturday, April 28, at 8 a.m., is open to all men ages 16 years and older and males throughout the Southland are welcome to participate," said Apostle Ronald C. Hill, Senior Pastor.

The contest will be held at Love and Unity Christian Fellowship located at 1840 South Wilmington Avenue in Compton.

"This tournament is an another means to reach out to draw men from the community to the church to hear the gospel message," added Elder Dennis Morgan, Technical and Media Director of Love and Unity Christian Fellowship.

Highlighting the competition is the $1500 grand prize. The second place winner receives $750, third place wins $375 and fourth place collects $200.

Church membership is not required to take part in the tournament, however, the entire team must attend one service at Love and Unity Christian Fellowship as well as submit their completed registration by the April 22 deadline. The tournament rules will be provided after registration.
