Donald Lawrence's The Law of Confession Part 1 debuts at #2

Donald Lawrence's THE LAW OF CONFESSION, a transformational collection of masterful songs, has landed Lawrence the highest selling first week of his career, and a #2 position on Billboard's Top Gospel Chart. Additionally, the CD is the #2 Christian/Gospel Title on iTunes and #71 on Billboard's Top 200 Chart.

His first solo set since 2004, the new project was inspired by the forthcoming book, "The Law of Confession," by Bill Winston (shepherd of Chicago's Living Word Christian Center where the project was recorded live). The collection revolves around a simple Biblical tenet: "A law is simply a principle, based on the predictable consequence of an act," Lawrence says. "Confession in the Greek language is homo-logeo which means to say what has been said. There is a spiritual law for confession: you just say what God has already said...`Speak the Word.'" The first single, "Back 2 Eden," is currently Top-10 at Gospel radio with heat to fuel an even further ascent.
