Wellington's Road

Life is fleeting. It doesn't seem like it at first or during but it is fleeting. We waste so much time on things that just don't matter.

Now I've probably written something similar to this but I think it's important to get reminders--focus on the things that matter in life.

Taking care of yourself is always key-you are your second best friend after Jesus. Your spiritual, physical, mental and emotional well-being is vital to you functioning in life. Make sure your house (that's you) is in order. It's spring, so it's time to clean out all the junk: emotional boo-boos', bad habits, unhealthy lifestyles and negative attitudes. When your house is in order, you know where everything is, it looks more pleasing to the eye and you can invite guests inside.

Your family is the tree from which your branch springs. We all don't come from the best or ideal family but I bet there is someone who you care deeply for--embrace him or her and let them know you care. Take time to spend with family--let them get to know you and you know them. Having a close relationship with your family can be a game-changer later on in life. Your family needs you more than you think...

Be about your purpose in life--it's what you were put here to do. We all have a purpose--no one is here by mistake. God doesn't make mistakes. We each have something to bring to the table. Don't worry if you're still looking for your purpose, at least your looking, some people let life rob them of their right to find it. When you have your purpose, live in it and share it with others. When you walk in purpose, you're truly living.

You, family and purpose--it's what connects the dots of life. When you've come to the end of the road of life, it's better to look back with peace than regret. Make sure you make life matter for you now.
