ABILITYFIRST BRINGS GOOD FRIENDS AND NEW FRIENDS TOGETHER

Sunset and a warm summer breeze provided the perfect backdrop as friends of AbilityFirst, a non-profit organization serving children and adults with disabilities, gathered at the Bradbury home of Danny Bakewell, Sr. and his wife Aline. The Bakewells hosted the event in support of AbilityFirst, and to specifically enlighten business and community leaders about the Capital Campaign for the Joan and Harry A. Mier Center in Inglewood. The new center will replace the outdated Harry A. Mier Center on Crenshaw Boulevard, and triple the amount of children and adults with disabilities served.
