Deacon Wright Earns USC Degree

James E. Wright II

Family and friends of James E. Wright II cheered and applauded during his graduation ceremony at the University of Southern California on May 11.

Wright, the son of Pastor James and Lady Juanita Wright, earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in Public Policy and will start graduate school next year. Also, he serves as a deacon at RightWay Baptist Church in Culver City, which was founded by his father.

"We congratulate our son for reaching one of his goals," said his proud parents. "Over the last year, James worked as a summer intern for the Honorable John Perez, California Speaker of the Assembly and he also worked for Assemblywoman Holly Mitchell. We thank God for our son's accomplishments."
