The Queens of Cali Los Angeles Social Club (Q.O.C.S.C) held their 3rd Annual Turkey Giveaway Tuesday, Nov. 24th at the corner of 110th and Broadway. The non-profit organization put a turkey dinner package together to give to the homeless last week. Each member of the club donated a turkey or ham to the less fortunate.

The Q.O.C.S.C is an all female, motorcycle association club that was founded in Los Angeles in June of 2007. They originated in San Francisco as the female branch of the Kings of Cali Motorcycle Club. Q.O.C.S.C is a group of diverse women who are invested in helping the youth and community. They strive to share the same values they hold as a group with the community around them.

The Q.O.C.S.C is about sisterhood and a bond of friendship. They hope to encourage, empower and give purpose to the community at large, especially the youth. The Q.O.C.S.C wants to promote healthy images of the men, women and children of our community. “We’re here to support” says Gloria aka “Go-Go”, Vice-President of the Q.O.C.S.C, “and be productive in life.”

The Q.O.C.S.C is very active within the community and contributes to matters they hold close to their heart. They are involved with The Veterans Stand Down in Compton, which provides for the needs and cares of homeless veterans; they recently adopted a softball team from Gonzalez Park in Compton, CA, the C-Bats Kids; and they will be holding a Toy/Back-Pack Giveaway on Dec. 13th with the Rare Breeds Motorcycle Club.

The Q.O.C.S.C is all about making a difference and holding onto a promise for a better life. They believe that by giving back, they will provide joy and hope to the less fortunate and spread inspiration. The Queens of Cali simply hope to give everybody the royal treatment.

If you would like to contact the Q.O.C.S.C you may call (310) 800-8945. Thank You.
