Legendary Rapper Guru Recovering

Guru is said to be recovering from a successful surgery on Monday (March 1) after suffering a heart attack over the weekend.

Despite Internet rumors that the rapper had died, AllHipHop.com is quoting sources who say the Gangstarr emcee is not only doing "fine," but should make a full recovery.

"Guru is alive and recovering from his surgery. Doctors are expecting a full recovery luckily," a source told the Web site.

Guru's partner DJ Premier also confirmed the news on his official Twitter page.
