The 2010 GMC Chevy Terrain Debuted with a highly touted national advertising campaign.   The Terrain was awarded in 2009 a top safety pick award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. This is an important consideration in the selection of a five-passenger family-friendly crossover vehicle. The exterior features (all Standard) include deep-tinted glass, large power outside mirrors, and roof-rack side rails.  The front profile is accentuated with a well-designed inset grill set off with fog lamps. Interior:

The Terrain's interior is loaded.  It features premium cloth seats, leather wrapped steering wheel with a Pioneer Premium 8 speaker system with amplifier and equalization, AM/FM Stereo CD w/Aux Input, USB Port, XM Satellite Radio by subscription, Bluetooth for phone, Compass, Tilt & Telescopic steering, XM Satellite radio (by subscription), driver seat with 8-way power, lumbar; multi-flex sliding rear seat with 60/40 split setback and 3-position recline and rear view camera system quite a package.  The optional convenience package includes: heated front bucket seats and remote vehicle starter system. There is also an optional audio system with navigation included featuring radio data system, seven-inch touch screen, and navigation and voice recognition, and 40 GB hard-drive.

Performance:

The SLE-2 is powered by a 3.0L V6 DOHC power plant that more than adequately deliver's power and economy.  The 6-speed automatic transmission provides effortless drivability.
