Father, grandfather, uncle and fiancé, Harrison Leo Washington was born on October 9,1938 in Alexandria , Louisiana as the third of fifteen children to the late Edward Washington and Ann Glover Baylor Washington . Known for his "GQ style" and presence with a wonderful smile that could light up the room, Washington will always be remembered for having something positive to say.

Washington attended Jones Street Elementary School and Peabody High School. His strong belief in education led him to Grambling State University, L.A.C.C., UCLA, and Whittier College. He also studied drama, cold-reading, improvisation, and audio visual studies with Lee Strasbury and other industry professionals.

Member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Washington led a fruitful and extraordinary life. He not only played professional football with the Philadelphia Eagles, but also led a successful professional acting career that included film and television, commercials and theater. Some of his film and theater credits include; "The Longest Yard", "It Takes A Thief', "His Woman, His Wife', and "Mr. Right Now".

God called Washington home on June 2, 2010. He's survived by fiancé, Velma C. Keller; father, Reverend Edward Donaldson Washington; mother, Ann Glover Baylor; siblings, Charles Edward Washington, James Washington, Henry Washington, Louvenia Annie Washington, Ann Glover Washington, Joseph Washington, Debra Lee Washington; son Auodiya Washington; daughter Georgette Washington; granddaughter, Omaria Washington; sisters, Carrie Lee Predom and Barbara McLemore; brothers , Frank (Felicica); Ronald Lee (Rose), Thomas "TJ", Jefferson Washington; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
