Michael Vick Doesn’t Wanna Keep it Real; Quits BET Reality Series

Apparently football star Michael Vick is not feeling reality TV cameras all up in his face all the time.

The Philadelphia Eagles backup quarterback has decided to cancel the second season of his BET show “The Michael Vick Project” although the network wants nothing more than for him to keep it going.

“I put a stop to that,” he said as quoted by CSN Philly. “They asked me to do it. I don’t have that lifestyle.”

Vick wants to concentrate on his game instead of being followed by a camera most of the time.

Vick agreed to expose his life on camera following the incarceration for dog-fighting case. The series mainly focuses on him searching for personal and professional redemption while exploring his past. Ten episodes were aired starting January this year.

However, if you’re jonesing for a reality football show, you’re in luck because Vick was not the only game in town, so to speak.

For instance, another Eagles player, Hank Baskett, is a part of his wife Kendra Wilkinson’s E! series “Kendra.”

And of course, Cincinnati Bengals stars Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco have their “The T.O. Show” and “Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch” shows.
