Soul Cups Wins Spot on Food Network’s Cupcake Wars: Season Two

Soul Cups Cupcake owner Celeste Alleyne was hand-picked from thousands of applicants to join the second season of the successful Food Network Show: Cupcake Wars. The show episode, entitled Walk of Fame, will air on Tuesday, February 22, 2011.

"To learn how this cupcake battle is fought, you must watch the show. I'm sworn to secrecy and can't share any details," says Celeste. Celeste featured her special treats at the Annual Soul Cups Cupcakes Holiday sale and celebration at Say Cheese Café, 2800 Hyperion Avenue, in Silverlake, on Sunday, December 12. Visitors were able to sample her seasonal favorites such as Peppermint Stick, The Great Pumpkin Spice and Lemon Snowdrops. Enjoy "Baby Dot" mini cupcake samples, order cupcakes for friends and family. Have a glass of cider and spread some Christmas, Hanukah, and Kwanza cheer.

Soul Cups Cupcakes catering company was created by Celeste Alleyne, a baker trained by her father, a professional chef. Celeste has also studied at the Cordon Bleu in Paris, France, Tuscany, Italy, and various California cooking schools.
