Fundraiser for Parks

The Committee to Re-elect Bernard C. Parks recently held a fundraiser for the 8th district councilman.

The hosts were prominent attorney, Rickey Ivie, of Ivie McNeill & Wyatt, and his wife, Eloise Laws, singer, and a member of the prominent Laws family of musicians; and Jerome Horton, member of the state Board of Equalization, and his wife, Yvonne Horton, Inglewood city clerk.

The event was held at the Ladera home of Madelaine Cobb-Brown and some of the other invited guests included Joseph T. Rouzan, Drs. John Griffith, Clarence L. Shields and Sandra Cox.
