AECOM, a leading provider of professional technical and management support services for government and commercial clients around the world, has donated 20 new computers to three local community outreach organizations in South Los Angeles, California. The Brotherhood Crusade, First African Methodist Episcopal Church and the Los Angeles Urban League received the donation, worth approximately $20,000, as a gift to help students further their education in the technology field. Students will use the 19-inch, flat screen Dell computers in learning centers named for AECOM by the respective organizations.

"This donation makes a tremendous impact in helping The Brotherhood Crusade produce a healthy, joyous, thriving and economically viable community while ensuring the success of our youth in school and in life," says Charisse Bremond, the The Brotherhood Crusade's chief executive officer and president.

AECOM is committed to being a good corporate citizen by making a difference in communities through charitable donations. Previous computer donation recipient organizations include the Girls Today Women Tomorrow Leadership Mentoring Program; Plaza de la Raza; East Los Angeles Community Youth Center; and San Fernando Valley Partnership.

"This donation represents the first step in programs that we hope will encourage people to pursue technical careers," says Armando Ramirez, vice president and marketing manager with AECOM."This follows our culture of technical mentoring and is a great way to give back to the communities we serve."

AECOM's rich history in the Los Angeles community spans more than 60 years.
