Mesereau Clinic Hosts Federal Judge Otis Wright

U.S. District Court Judge Otis D. Wright II will discuss "Drug prosecutions: Federal vs. State Court" on Saturday, March 26th at 11 a.m., at the Mesereau Free Legal Clinic, located at 8722 Crenshaw Blvd. in Inglewood, CA inside of Morningside Church.

"The Honorable Otis Wright is one of the great jurists serving on the U.S. bench. His experience includes 20 years as a civil litigator and tenure as a judge at both the state and federal levels," said Attorney Thomas A. Mesereau. "We encourage the public to attend this free educational forum to gain insight and understanding about the disparity of the Federal and State Sentencing for Drug Prosecutions and the court system."

A native of Tuskegee, Alabama, Judge Wright earned his B.S. degree from CSU-Los Angeles and his J.D. from Southwestern. Before attending college, he served as a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps and then spent 11 years as a deputy sheriff in Los Angeles.

The Mesereau Free Legal Clinic, founded by Attorney Mesereau, is a 501c3 nonprofit CA organization dedicated to providing quality legal services in Los Angeles County.
