Cochran’s Middle School Annual Principal’s Honor Roll Celebration

Principal Scott M. Schmerelson's Annual Honor Roll Celebration was held Wednesday, March in the auditorium from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Parents, students, friends and staff were there for recognition of students who had maintained a "B" and above averages for the first semester 2010-2011.

Counselors Yaganagi, Medina and Bravo each had over 120 students to receive the gold-trimmed Certificate of Recognition, gold and silver hand-held trophies with nameplates bearing students' names for fall semester, a Principal's momentous honor roll pen and free Yogurtland coupons for each student.

Stephen Compton, Title 1 Coordinator was in charge of this special event.
Catherine Whitaker, CHAMPs Coach assisted as well.

Others serving in various capacities were Assistant Principals, Celia Grant and Deanna Hardemion, History Coach, Meg Schreiber and Instructional Coach, Jeanne Pollyea.

Principal Schmerelson was immensely impressed for unanimous support received from all for his annual event. This was the largest number of honorees ever to be recognized for such accomplishment.
