New Antioch Offers Services During Holy Week

New Antioch Church of God in Christ will offer a series of celebrations focused on the Resurrection of Jesus Christ during Holy Week. New Antioch is located at 7826 S. Vermont Avenue in Los Angeles.

"Our celebration commences on Palm Sunday, April 17, at our 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. services and culminates with our Annual Resurrection Services on April 24," said Pastor Jeffrey M. Lewis.

A drama production, "Father, Forgive Them," directed by Evangelist Barbara Bean will be presented on Wednesday, April 20, at 7:30 pm. Actor Harry Lennox, known for starring roles in TV's ‘ER' and other well-known shows, is also one of the directors of the play.

Resurrection Services on Sunday, April 24, start at 8 a.m., with early worship. The Youth Resurrection Program will be at 10 a.m., and consist of worship, praise music, scripture, drama presentations, readings and messages. Morning worship will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Lewis delivering the message commemorating Christ's resurrection. The New Antioch Inspirational Choir will provide music and Evangelist Holly Carter will lead the Praise and Worship Team.
