Usher’s “OMG Tour” comes to Staples Center

By overwhelming popular demand, multi-platinum recording artist Usher has just added a second North American leg to his acclaimed "OMG Tour," which arrives at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles on Wednesday, June 1st.

Presented by AEG Live's Concerts West and Atlanta Worldwide Touring, the concert will feature Usher's signature brand of hit-filled R&B-infused pop as well as special guest superstar Akon.  The announcement comes hot on the heels of Usher's triumphant appearance at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards, where he scored two awards (Best Male R&B Vocal Performance and Best Contemporary R&B Album), and performed an electrifying version of his hit "OMG" alongside protégé Justin Bieber.

Usher recently wowed audiences when he "dropped in" for a surprise Super Bowl halftime performance alongside The Black Eyed Peas, and his recent "OMG Tour" performances have received rave reviews from fans and critics alike.  Daily Variety stated that "he is a consummate professional, showing full mastery of both voice and body." The "OMG Tour" follows Usher's pop chart smash, "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love," from his recent release Versus, an extension of his platinum sixth studio album, Raymond V.
