Hall to also be conferred with a Doctorate in Theology this summer from Next Dimension Bible College Assemblymember Isadore Hall, III (D-Los Angeles) will be awarded an Executive Master of Leadership (EML) degree from the University of Southern California (USC) School of Policy, Planning and Development. Hall will receive his degree during graduation ceremonies on the Campus of USC on Friday, May 13 at 8:30 a.m. The EML offers working professionals the opportunity to advance their career by obtaining a master's degree that applies to virtually any organization. Students come from a variety of fields including public administration, planning, law enforcement, economic development, public policy, engineering, transportation, executive recruitment, fundraising and resource development, as well as other public, nonprofit, and business disciplines. The program design offers participants insight into the mechanisms that facilitate effective personal and organizational networks, as well as collaborative problem solving strategies and practices. EML follows a cohort model whereby students enroll in the four required core courses together as a single learning unit or group. Students must have at least five years of professional experience prior to enrolling in the program. The degree curriculum has three distinguishing features including transformational leadership that connects the public, private, and nonprofit sectors; an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary problem-solving approach and a design to connect ethics with leadership through core values. This is the second Master's degree awarded to Assemblymember Hall. He was previously awarded a Master's Degree in Public Administration from National University. In addition to receiving the EML, Hall is also scheduled to receive a Doctorate in Theology degree from Next Dimension Bible College in August, 2011. Hall, has represented the 52nd Assembly District since December 2008 and currently serves as the Chair of the Assembly Governmental Organization Committee.
