Mayoral Election Committee raises funds

The Jan Perry Mayoral Election Committee has reached the $660,000 mark with eligible matching funds.

"I am honored to have found such great support for my candidacy. My record of delivering on key services and renewing the district I represent, from downtown to South LA, has built a powerful foundation for my race for mayor. I have made city government work in my district; as mayor, I will make it work for all Los Angeles residents once again," said Perry.

"Jan Perry was already the only candidate with a real record of creating jobs, making our city work for its residents and fighting for DWP ratepayers. And, after the current fundraising report, she is all those things along with the candidate with the most resources available to run an efficient and aggressive campaign for mayor in 2013," said Eric Hacopian, campaign consultant.
