New Music: Shad Moss “Ya Heard” ft. Problem

Mr. 106 & Park has gone from the name Lil’ Bow Wow to Bow Wow, he is now reverting to his given name Shad Moss. The rapper said he would no longer go by his stage name after the BET Awards, making it official, Moss has released a new track “Ya Heard” featuring Problem under his new image and name.

Mack Wilds known as Tristan Wilds made the transition from actor to singer. From playing Michael Lee on HBO’s The Wire, Dixon Wilson on 90210, to Red Tails and The Secret Life of Bees, the singer dropped his first album last year “New York: A Love Story,” a mixture of melodies and club bangers echoing hisEast Coast flavor. Wilds earned a 2014 Grammy nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album. He is currently touring for the “Under the Influence of Music Tour” with Young Jeezy, Wiz Khalifa and Tyga. WE tv Launches “In Between” Digital Seasons with “SWV Reunited”

R&B 90s girl group SWV: Sisters With Voice is re-upping their reality show virtually with WE tv, as their seasonal show is on a break. The network is launching an “In Between” digital season with “SWV Reunited.” According to eurweb.com the online series will keep viewers interested in their shows during hiatuses. Six episodes of “SWV Reunited: In Between” will begin rolling out each Thursday starting July 3 on WEtv.com leading up to the return of season-two on Aug. 14.

Prince Rocks the Stage at 20th Essence Music Festival

Staying on the music scene with singles “Breakfast Can Wait,” “The Breakdown” and debuting on the cover of Essences June issue, the artist formerly known as Prince rocked out for the 20th Anniversary of the Essence Music Festival.  Performing at The Mercedes Benz Superdome July 4th for thousands of New Orleans fans he opened with 1980’s hit “Let’s Go Crazy” followed by crowd pleasers “When Doves Cry,” “Little Red Corvette” and “Raspberry Beret.”  While rekindling his infamous singles, he covered Sheila E’s “The Glamorous Life” and “Jungle Love” and “The Bird” by Morris Day and the Time.
