Sisters in Ministry, Inc., founded in 2003 by Dr. Dawson, is an inter-denominational fellowship of women in ministry. SIM’s threefold mission is to strengthen women in ministry by supporting one another, promote excellence in ministry and encourage surrendered service to the Body of Christ.

“SIM is first and foremost in the business of connecting and supporting women in ministry. SIM is committed to advancing the Kingdom of God through well-trained ministers of the gospel who uplift the profession of Christian ministry while serving the Body of Christ,” shared Dr. Dawson.

“Secondly, our preferred picture of the future is an international interdenominational fellowship that spans across racial and cultural lines to embrace all women who believe that God has called them to Christian ministry.

“Finally, our values include fully surrendered lives, devotions to spiritual disciplines, such as Bible study, prayer and fasting, and unity among all clergy, both male and female.”
