Bullying, drug abuse, gangs and other issues facing youth and young adults will highlight the upcoming Faithbuilders Prayer Breakfast and Conference.

The day-long event, planned for Saturday, April 26, at 8 a.m., is part of the 10th Healing and Deliverance Conference sponsored by Blessed Ministries Interdenominational Ministry on April 24-27.

“Young people face a myriad of challenges in today’s world, but God equips His children with spiritual weapons to combat Satan’s traps,” said Apostle Charlezetta Nixon, founder of Blessed Ministries.

“Our workshops cover topics to empower ages three to 30. Also, we will feature certified instructors, liturgical dance and children, youth and young adult prayer intercessors.

“In addition, the Rev. Charles Dorsey, youth and young adult pastor at Christ Our Redeemer A.M.E. Church in Irvine, will be the keynote speaker at the prayer breakfast,” added Apostle Nixon.

The conference instructors are certified teaches in Blessed Ministries.  They are Minister Darla Dukes-Johnson, Sister Dana Salters, Evangelist Charlene Allen, and Pastor Ron and Lady Shontell Thomas of Road to Damascus Church in Carson.

Registration includes conference materials, lunch, refreshments and the Faithbuilders Prayer Breakfast. The rates are $15 for children ages 3 to 9, $25 for youth ages 10 to 17, and $50 for young adults ages 18 to 30.  Tickets to attend the breakfast only are $40.
