OL’ DIRTY BASTARD AND EAZY-E
September and two names have been making more news than many of the other performers on the bill. And they’re dead.
Following in the footsteps of Tupac Shakur’s virtual performance at Coachella in 2012, the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard and Eazy-E will be taking the stage as holograms this summer. ODB will be coming out during the Wu-Tang Clan’s set and Eazy-E will be keeping it gangsta with Bone Thugs N Harmony.
The reactions to the announcement have been mixed with some expressing outrage while other fans seem pleased with the notion.
The company responsible for the Tupac Shakur hologram, Digital Domain Media Group Inc., filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last year, so it is unclear who will be creating the ODB and Eazy-E projections. The Tupac hologram was rumored to have cost between $100,000 and $400,000 to create.
According to Radar Online, Beyonce has responded to reports that she and husband Jay-Z are about to make Blue Ivy a big sister! Last night she took to her Instagram to let it be known exactly how she felt.
“I can’t stop the rumors from starting, and I can’t really change peoples minds who believe them, all I can do is sit back and laugh at these low life people who have nothing better to do than talk about me,”
Radar Online is reporting that the IG pic has since been removed.
This is what came as a result of the world erupting with commentary yesterday after E! News began reporting definitively that Bey was pregnant, and after her friend, Russell Simmons tweeted a congratulations to the Beyonce and Jay-Z.
Well, whether it was true or not, everyone wanted to be the very first to break the story, and we guess what happened in the end was, that people hurt the very person they wanted to be happy for. Not good.
Akon, who is making a reported $40,000 per month has been ordered to pay child support in the amount of $5,000 each month to support his two minor sons born out of wedlock in 2008 and 2009.
TMZ has reported that Akon filed a Petition for Legitimization in GA Superior Court. The singer claims he’s the father of two minor sons and has asked that the court; grant him joint legal custody, allow him to be involved in all major decisions, ensure the boys keep his last name of Thiam, and most importantly establish child support.
Dig this, Akon willingly disclosed the high amount of money he’s making for it to be used as a factor in how much child support he should be paying each month to the two boy’s mother.
But there’s more, he also has requested that the kids be eligible to inherit from him just as if they would be able to if they were born in wedlock.
According to the docs, the judge also took into consideration that Akon makes SIX other child support payments each month. Wow! That’s a whole lot of convict music he’s going to need to keep making! But we salute Akon for doing the right thing! Plenty of guys would not have stepped up to the plate like this! Good for him and more importantly, good for his little ones!

Candace Glover is the new “American Idol.”
And of course a lot of people are happy for her, but one particular person reportedly isn’t. That’s Natalie Cole!
He reason reported is the song 23-year-old Candace chose to sing was Natalie’s 1975 hit, “Inseparable,” which she sang with … Jennifer Hudson on AI.
“AI” judge Randy Jackson thought it “best ever” Idol performance. Uh oh.
Reports are that Natalie Cole was not too pleased and said so via Twitter and Facebook:
“Make no mistake…’Inseparable’ was NOT originally recorded by Jennifer Hudson, but by ME…. Not American Idol.”
“Cole also addressed a tweet to Idol’s account saying”:
“@AmericanIdol ought to be ashamed of themselves! I’m seriously offended! #Idol #Idolfinale.” She later deleted the tweet.
