RAY J’s HIT or MISSES

His sister is a former television sitcom star and R& B singer, he has tried his hand at both television and music and once had a hit TV Reality Show, but what Ray J is best know for are the multiple women he’s dated.

The late Whitney Houston was among those, but he did sang or rap about any of them until now.

His latest swing at fame is a song that he’s either gloating or protesting. In response to Kim Kardashain’s engagement to rap giant Kanye West, and formerly to that Kris Humphries fellow presumably, Ray J will soon release “I Hit It First.

Ray J and Kardashian collaborated in a homemade porn film in 2008.

The lyrics to the new song indicates that Kim K, the mother of Kanye’s unborn child, is no more than sloppy seconds, or thirds or fourths or fifths, depending on what you know, or have seen for that matter.

Never one to be outdone, it’s likely that West will eventually have the last word. But in the meantime, TMZ leaked some of the lyrics to Ray J’s new single, “I Hit It First,” which is due out.

Check out the lyrics to “I Hit It First”:

She might move on to rappers and ballplayers
But we all know I hit it first.
I had her head going North and her ass going South
But now baby chose to go West
No matter where she goes or who she knows
She still belongs in my bed.

Also, word on the street is that a music video is brewing to accompany the song. Chances are it will feature a Kardashian look-alike. No surprise there

SAY IT LOUD

YouTube hopes users will get on the good foot with its new James Brown channel, featuring, concert footage, testimonials — and, of course, opportunities to purchase DVDs and other merchandise, reports Deadline.com.

The channel (youtube.com/jamesbrownofficial and shoutfactory.com/jamesbrown) is a partnership between the James Brown Estate and label Shout Factory, which distributes the Godfather of Soul’s properties.

“These digital destinations will continue to evolve as we program content specific to key events as well as discover and add new video assets, leveraging Shout Factory’s unique content curation capabilities,” says Jeffrey Thompson, Shout Factory’s VP of digital strategy and business development.

The launch coincides with the 45th anniversary of Brown’s Boston concert following the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. Many historians believe that the concert helped to prevent riots from breaking out as they had in several other cities.

CHRIS BROWN BLAST OFF

It looks like the animosity between Chris Brown and Drake has taken a new turn.

R&B star, Brown, has claimed that it would a bad decision on the Canadian rapper’s part to respond to Breezy’s most recent verbal assault.

Brown weighed in on Drake on Young Jeezy’s "R.I.P." remix track, questioning the rapper’s sexuality.

It seems that there’s no let up in Brown’s attack. Speaking to Sway on "Sway In The Morning", he said that Drake should think twice before hitting back.

"Man, y'all can't take me serious, I'm not a rapper," Chris said. "Nah, f*** that, it's all good. It's rap, man, it's hip-hop. It's not going to escalate. It's like kiddy rap right now. So as far as what I'm doing -- I put my frustrations out in my music 'cause I know ain't nothin' finna happen. I say whatever I want. Rebuttals are going to be stupid, I'm not a rapper so you're going to be stupid rapping back to a singer. But I'm gonna keep coming, n****. I don't care. [laughs] It's all good."
