Calvary Baptist Honors 1st Family

The Calvary Baptist Church congregation will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Pastor Virgil Jones and family on Friday, March 15 and Sunday, March 17, at 4911 West 59th Street in Los Angeles.

On Friday at 7 p.m., Pastor Curtis Williams of Christ Full Gospel Baptist Church will preach. On Sunday at 11 a.m., Pastor Ronald Miller of Living Faith Tabernacle in Rockford, Illinois will deliver the message. 

The celebration concludes on Sunday at 4 p.m., with Pastor J. B. Hardwick of Praises of Zion Baptist Church bringing the Word.

“We invite the public to join us in this celebration. Pastor Jones has been a true blessing for the Calvary Baptist family and introduced many programs for our children, youth, young adults and seniors,” said a spokesperson.

Pastor Jones also serves as a vice president with the Western Baptist State Convention and was previously young adult president for ten years.

In 2011, he published his first book, ‘Healing And Deliverance By The Finger Of God,’ which focuses on developing a viable prayer life.
